A kashrut notice issued today will warm the cockles of many a Jewish mother’s heart – whether it relates to baby-food or puddings - Bakers Boudoir (Finger) Biscuits are back on the kosher list – and Parev as well!

The company stopped manufacturing the product locally recently and had them baked according to their own recipe – but in Portugal of all places.

For this reason the Beth Din’s kashrut department had to withdraw the kashrut certification until it could vouch for the Portuguese factory.

They have! So, bobbies, you can dig out all those recipes again. The Beth Din announcement says that: “BOUDOIR BISCUITS produced in Portugal are kosher certified as PAREV with or without the Beth Din logo.”
