In a first for South African Jewry, Shtetlers will be able to ‘attend’ and ‘participate’ in a conference of a major communal organisation. The Fed’s 47th Conference - “Footsteps to the Future” – will be held from Saturday night 26 March to Sunday evening 27 March.

MyShtetl is also providing additional opportunities to enhance user participation – unfortunately these enhanced features are only open to ‘registered’ users.

The community can participate, too

All users, registered or not, will be able to hold a conference-within-a-conference by posting comments and opinions on the proceedings - and will be able to engage in discussion with one-another. Engage in this space below.

Registered users, however, will derive two additional benefits from the on-site discussions.

Firstly, you will be heard. Comments by registered users who are logged-in will be forwarded on to all the members of the new committee after the conference.

Secondly, any registered users who pose questions below as the conference proceeds will be put to members of the new committee as soon after conference closes as possible and MyShtetl will post their replies.
