ANOTHER NEW JOB POSTED MONDAY
Shtetlers can access the Jewish Job Junction by clicking the “JOBS” button on top of each page. This is a free service to the community brought to you by ORT JET JOBS and MyShtetl and is aimed at getting as many Jewish employers to hire as many Jewish staffers as possible.
ORT JET has also been running a very well-supported Job-seeker training programme over the past few years. This is being redesigned this year and they have a much more valuable and exciting programme on the cards – watch this space. This, too, is a free service to the community.
Among the new jobs posted today is a super sounding job posted by ORT JET themselves who are looking for a PRODUCT MANAGER to work in their mentorship programme.
Then there is a position for a RECEPTIONIST/secretary in Glenhazel, another for a TAX ADMINISTRATOR in northern Joburg and finally one for a SOCIAL WORKER with experience in mental illness who is required most urgently.
The service is so easy to use.
Job seekers fill in a once-off on-line resume and then any position they wish to apply for they simply click to send their resume to the recruiter. If the recruiter is interested in the job-seekers’ resume, they will contact them for more information, like a more complete CV, or to go in for an interview.
For recruiters, the service is free and they can choose to remain anonymous. That way they are not under pressure from friends and family who may want to be interviewed for the job. The system has been developed in such a way that the recruiter only gets a short resume and only has to respond to those they feel could be suitable.
