The Union of Orthodox Synagogues (UOS) will once again be supplying quality Arba Minim for Sukkot - approved by the Johannesburg Beth Din.
Orders may be placed either by phone 010 214-2600, fax 011 640-7528, email lulav@uos.co.za or online from 13 August at www.uos.co.za- (Remember their phone code is “010” and fax is “011”).
The UOS asks that you include your e-mail & cell contact details with your order.
The cost is R360 per set. Cash, cheques and EFT are accepted - credit cards are not.
Once again the UOS will give you the opportunity to select your own Arba Minim and have them made up while you wait, or simply to take a pre-made set if you prefer.
A limited number of “Chazon Ish” etrogim and etrogim with pitom are available. “People must please specify this in their orders,” says the UOS, as these will be allocated as the orders come in.
Collection is from the UOS, 58 Oaklands Rd, Orchards, on the following dates:

• Thursday 6th October: 09h00 – 16h30
• Sunday 9th October: 09h00 – 16h30

• Tuesday 11th October: 09h00 – 16h30
• Wednesday 12th October: 08h30 – 11h00 (collections only)

The UOS warns that “stock is limited and orders are allocated as they come in - please place your orders and collect early,” they say, “even if you order every year.”
