An ex Jo’burg lady now living in the Perth community, has just got a website going where she offers her art for sale.
Marion Urfig’s paintings are mainly modern abstract, but she does conventional flower paintings as well.
“Being born in SA has enabled me to have a flair for African-style art,” says Marion. It should help her with sales to expats who are still pining for a small remembrance of Africa.

Marion describes herself as “using acrylic medium, including various thickening agents, thus creating wonderful and exciting texture” to her paintings. She only uses the very best quality stretched, hand-made canvasses. She prefers to work in large sizes.
